My life, my dominion

Okay, you people are NOT going to believe this but i jsut spent 3 days with 7 people who were all aged 45 and above.

They were, my pastor emiritus and his wife (aroudn 80), my parents' friends (around 60), my parents (above 50) and my old sunday school teacher (the youngest).

Now. How do you think that went?

I must say it was a very unique experience. I mean we did a whole lot of crazy stuff(mostly the ladies) like shop, bargain and then run aroud half of malacca getting things like absolutley delicious pineapple tarts (the real deal not the crappy bengawan solo shit)

And i learnt weird things like how to choose sarong kebayas, the cloth. I ate the greatest food in a long long time and... yeah it was just real fun.

But perhaps what i felt was really great was when i got to talk with my pastor whom i must say has a tremendous impact on my spiritual life. I affirmed my beliefs in his teachings and in teh discussions and learnt new things that further my resolve.

And now that my belly aches so much i must go and sleep now heh. TOO FAT! MUST RUN!

I haven't blogged this much in AGES. oh well
hmm, 155 blogs in 2 years which means a blog every 5 days or so not bad.

Why am i blogging, i dunno why.
I think teh reason why i didn't want to go back to Singapore is coz i'd hate to leave. i mean i like singapore. the reason why i wanted to get off this rock was because i had teh opportunity and i wanted it. Right now coming back to teh familiar and the love, it sucks going back to my 3.5X2.5 cell. Not that life in the UK is overrated or sucks. i 'm fine with it. Just that going back to church and all i've seen where i've actually missed out a lot on int eh past and recently. Funny, no matter which circle i'm in i somehow always seem to be the outsider. Maybe i have commitment problems....... heh

Oh well....... Soon i'll be going back. But oh well she's there! hehe BIG PLUS
REAL BIG PLUS. I must admit i'm getting a little worried about the future.
I mean the past 4 years and 8 months have been easy from what i see compared to what lies ahead. The next time i'll get to see her at home will be....... 2007? When she grads from grad school. hmm yeah we'll see each other again but yeah. It's gonna be like last year in NS, one year without seeing her. Sure i had work to keep my mind off her for like 6 out of 7 days and i'll avhe school, but i seriously will suck lah. I'm usually fine with only talking, but not seeing physically for a WHOLE BLOODY YEAR is gonna suck the life out of me. Oh well, hope i don't descend into the state of mindless moodiness i had last year. Me gonna be HAPPY. H-A-P-P-Y.

Celebrities should have blogs, then do product placements on them and earn money. That's the ultimate of endorsements. Imagine brad pitt's blog saying i love xxx gel coz it makes my hair look so GREAT. heh

Yes yes i know i said the blog isn't date a WEEK ago but yeah it's hols and i've got a TONNE of work. funny, everyone seems so surprised that i do. hmm....?

Anyhow merry christmas to everyone out there. My christmas was pretty SO SO a plain which is good. Had dinner with parents, fish soup in charcoal steamboat, doesn't get better than that now does it?

I was looking through my music library. Btw i am now the owner of a nice lime green ipod mini, eons after everyone already got theirs. well it's free so i'm not complainig. EXCEPT.... HOW DO I GET THE MUSIC OUT OF MY IPOD??????? Stupid software doesn't work and apple had to go and put in all their fail safe barriers. in any case yeah my song are all rather depressing as one of my flat mates pointed out. Hmm i wonder why. All the songs i have are sounds of people crying out in some for of pain. maybe i'm in pain you never know.

oh yeah watched narnia. I have to say that the CGIwas nothing to crow about. The rendering wasn't taht good so you could tell what was fake and what wasn't. Perhaps they blew their budget on Aslan and basically everything else had to be cut. I know that Jadis is the same actress as in Constantine but i can't remember her name but her double sword/magic icicle and sword combo is just SO COOL. I just wish she had more expression than just giving us that icy look. Perhaps it's part of the persona but come on, show some blood when you get angry right?
And yeah i guess CS Lewis had a rather lame way of 'killing' people by turning them to stone but hey i'm not complaining in fact this movie at least tries to stay true to the original text unlike some marvel other movies. A bit draggy i have to admit but i'm sure it's better than 3 hours of brain numbing violence from King Kong, i'd rather watch ants fight.
Overall a decent movie worth watching on teh big screen and i must say CS lewis and the directors have a much better sense of battles than tolkein and jackson. Not dissing the author, just making a comparison.

Looking forward to the other movies though i hear that Magician's nephew isn't going to be done. BLEAH.
