Hello EVERYBODY!
yesh i am BACK ONLINE to terrorise the net.
Okay well i don't think i'll bore everyone with my details of my holiday in europe. in honesty i remember very little of it except that i got to spend 3 romantic weeks with my girlfriend HAHAHAHHA!!!!!okay so it's three weeks with me, not exactly the romantic getaway that anyone would imagine any SANE girl would go through but yeah it's still europe.
If anythin her's what i got to say.
Paris was worth a wekk
Berlin was excellent
Vienna, well just spend about 3-4 days and NOT 5 and definitely NOT in summer
Switzerland, well avoid the cities and go to the ALPS if you're gonna burn your wallet coz of the ridiculously rich swiss you might as well do it loooking at something tha tyou like.

Okie well i guess i'll start slow and just update what has happened over the past weekend.
ON my....7th week of internship next week. this past week has been pretty much the same as before dead SLOW which gives me a lot of time to ask questions, sound absolutely moronic and read lots of stuff pertaining to present/future value, interate rates, yields, prices blah bah spreads swaps options, forwards, futures derivatives, money markets, stops, supports, resistance, candles (yes you're goin wat?), trend lines, congestion etc etc.
money in money out that's basically wat's going on.
being in a trading room is like information overload on a MEGA scale, we've got sky news, cnn and reuters all plugged in so basically we get the news AS IT HAPPENS and not when the news decides to tell us its scary especially when i hear about how people felt when they were watching 9/11 live and more recently 7/7. but overall i'm learning everything and my head is more like those lion head goldfish, all bloated and really really BIG.
Oh yeah, the financial market is also the worlds biggest and fastest RUMOUR market. heh well coz liket he forex guys make their living on rumours of news and stuff to see where the market is moving so you hear all the stuff about Bernanke going to announce this and that, the ECD or BOE leaking info or the latest on the terror threats or whether Iran is being a pain as usual etc.
Also haha on friday, my colleague forwarded me this string of forwarded emails about this intern in Citigroup london who has been teh butt of jokes in the ENTIRE LONDON and apparnetly now the world. Basically she sent out this REALLY SNOBBY email inviting some of her friend to the RITZ(yes the RITZ). haha she like staggered their arrival times, told them how to speak to the ushers, and told them to wear as upper class as possible so that they wouldn't be refused entry haha. and it spread like WILD fire first to teh ENTIRE CITIGROUP (mind you this is the 2nd largest banking group in the WORLD) and then to like EVERY bank in teh City (the City is basically london). The Times and Today In London all got wind of it and there were commentaries in their respective 'Analysis of Business' sections. HAHAHA. she recently issued a statement how it was a joke, she was glad to entertain but would people please not spread it anymore. HAHAHA and her friends got interviewed and they all said she was very popular (and conveniently rich heh) and wasn't a snob haha. PS she's from Oxford (just had to be right?)
oh well yeah that's enough about the office.
It's Notting Hill carnival, the worlds 2nd largest carnival after Rio.
Px was a bit sceptical about the scale of it and i do't blame her coz of the stiff upper lip reputation that britons have heh. But yeah it's more a celebration of the diversity that exists in Britain particular of the carribean and african type which is realy funny since this is coming on the back of all this talk of racial integration in the UK etc.

in other news i'm 22. yeah like a fortnight ago but i guess i should mention it right?
Well yes. So now NO ONE can sayi never told them coz LOADS of people know of my blog so hHAR HAR HAR! Blogging is just SO lazy haha. right good decent sized post in a long while should keep everyone happy.
